Unrealistic opening bid. The good news is it looks like that wacky tuner set up at the bridge can easily be removed, the thumb rest no big deal. The biggest issue is the rectangular inlays, that's a tough fix, could be done but I'm not sure it's worth it. Having said all that if it had a realistic BIN I'd hit it just cause it's a '54.

Got pretty temted myself, just to experience this pickup.
I do wind pickups myself, and really like old gibsons..
Never heard these early ones 'live' , though.

Seems to be this person's first sales item on ebay.

But at least it's an honest description: 'It looks used'   :)

If it were more realistic, I'd be on it!  A fun looking project.
I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

Anyone else notice it's a lefty? Whaddya bet this isn't the first time that bass has made an appearance here?

It's a righty, when you look closely at some of the shots.  The first full body shot does make it seem like a lefty.

I thought I was f'ng losing my mind, like having a massive senior moment not being able to tell a righty from a lefty. Glad it's wasn't me having that problem  ;)

Buy the Cream Reunion DVD Royal Albert Hall then, it's all over it.

I tried to see it all ways but I just can't manage to see it as a lefty?
