Arranging a photo shoot is always a drag so what's a better way to get them than asking a photographer to come to the rehearsals. We did just that and the pics turned out rather good.:)

Great pics - like the black Ric :vader: and 8-string Aria!

Excellent - ten times better than a brick wall or railway tracks.

Thanks! The photographer was especially satisfied with those wide pictures. He had to combine them from two or three shots as he hasn't brought any wide lenses with him.

Chromium, that's a 6-string Aria (tuned like a Fender Bass VI). It used to be a 9-string (3x3 or eeE-aaA-ddD or a poor man's twelvestring), that's why there's too much tuners.:)

Well, it is because it stays in tune! Never had a problem with it, only it takes a bit longer to settle when I change a new set.

Barklessdog

How does it sit and how do you use it with the mix, do use use a standard bass overdub with the 12 string?

Depends on the song. It's on four tracks on our album, two has the 12-string alone, one has a standard overdub and one has a 12-string and a four string on different sections. I've usually used the 12-string when the songs were written and that defines the roles of the guitars pretty much.

Great pics! Reminds me of the back of 70's album covers where they would have a collage of pictures from session and touring. I think on Deep Purple album was like that.

Certainly not young and hip, but here's our latest promo pic.

Is that a left-handed Gretsch Thunderjet bass?
