This might have fallen through the plumber's crack with many of you, but I think it is an esthetically wholesome solution to an old problem:

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

I just read a rather interesting article concerning the outlawing of Incandescent bulbs in the EU and the black market for them in ze Fatherland - Hilarious!

I know! That is a true case of EU madness reigning. But I am a center of resistance - my terrarium has 300 and 160 watt spot bulbs!!! I will soon be in a position to charge an entrance fee for it so people get an idea what real light looks like.

Very true Al, I was out for a walk in the Sun last week and made it down to the marina here in Des Moines - seeing the Olympics covered in snow and shining on a crystaline blue day is something very special.
