...for the first time in my life. I was semi-saddened to have never seen them while John Entwhistle & Keith Moon were alive.
Great show - Zak Starky is quite a monster, but the biggest moment of the night (for me, anyway) was during the bass solo on 5:15. Everything leading up to the break was moving right along when up flashed JAE's likeness followed by footage of him playing the solo (not sure if it was Leeds or not). They mixed in his playing into the live mix and all eyes (even Pino's) were on the big screen watching John Entwistle tear it up. Really cool moment.
They played Quadrophenia cover-to-cover and some of their bigger hits.
Fun night - well worth the 5 hour drive up to DC.
Today's 5 hour drive was a little rougher - I think I had a bit too much fun.
