Looks like the color that Fender's Lake Placid Blue turns into after about 20+ years.  Nice!
Thanks, the color changes depending on the light, looks pretty green sometimes.

Thanks, Bill.  It's been fun learning to play the thing!

Better hurry up and decide, Bill... someone might snap this one up... ;D (no, not me)

Thanks, guys!  Trees might be better after it's buffed out... ;D

I absolutely love the simplicity of this bass. Green is on of my least favorite colors, for this I make a exception, just beautiful.

Extremely nice! Beautiful in the words deepest meaning! The colour is just killer! Any plans on doing her in regular 4-string?

Thanks, guys!  Everything I do is available as a 4,5 or 8, including ExplorerBird.  Next will be a 12er when I get the neck sorted.

I don't expect there to be a lot of interest in this G8R (GATOR) body style, just did it for myself.

Very "space age"! Love the color. One of these days I'm going to bite the bullet and get my Ric re-finished to something like that.

A left-handed short-scale 8-string in that body shape would interest me.

Can you do an 8 string in 30 " scale?

You'd have to build the neck. Needs to be 1 3/4" at the nut, can't buy one that wide.  It's really not something I'd want to do, I prefer the sound of long scale.  It would be easier to play though.

A fretless neck could be adapted by having the frets cut to a 30" scale instead of whatever it was...

True but then the neck would have 24+ frets to accommodate  the neck heel and the bridge would be close to the middle of the body.
