Just the right time of year for this...

I do like how people's postings here really cater to Denis' initial issue. This is a compassionate forum, we can pride ourselves in that. Derision is really not us, how comforting.

Do band names count?

Always be Green Jello to me.

The band that played at my wedding last year was Roscoe And His Little Green Men. Roscoe played a Sunburst Jazz though.

It's not just any green you know, here is Runrig playing out in the green in Inverness, I want threads to stay on track if at all possible, please respect that:

I actually saw these guys a couple of weeks ago when they toured Germany - a reminescence of Edith's and my Scotland trip last year when we had a Runrig CD on power play in the car. I know, going to a Runrig concert sounds cheesy, but it was one of those "holy communion of the devoted"-type events where even a cynic like me could not help to be moved. I even forgave the bass player playing a Stingray.

U(we) must be joking...

Hmm... that works on multiple levels...

The Aurora is often a lovely shade of green and can be seen in Inverness - maybe that's part of the origin of the name...?
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
