The company's in Germany and they make a point of it being "real German silver" (i.e. nickel silver, which doesn't have any silver in it).

They don't say it's manufactured in Germany, and at that price, I doubt that it is. German companies can import from China as well as American companies can. NTTAWWT.

Importing is such a hassle. Most of the time we just invade and then introduce our currency system.

The question would also be whether they're the right depth, which depends on the pickups you're replacing (or re-covering).

The fact that they make these in gold means I could finally get around to dressing up a white T-bird with all gold parts. Gold Hipshot Ultralites, Gold Rosetti 3-point bridge, gold bridge cover, and now, gold pickup covers and pickup rings.

It would all run somewhere around $250 dollars, but it sure would look pretty unique.

I agree Dave, too cheap to be made in Germany.  My price on TBird pup covers from China before Steve decided to make them was $3 each plus $1500 for tooling guaranteed to last at least 2000 covers.  So $4.50 a cover for a thousand, 3.75 per for 2000.  I could have bought as few as I wanted as long as I paid the tooling cost and the per piece price.

This was from my Taiwanese business partner so I knew the quality was excellent and we'd own the tooling...but I'm very happy NOT to be in that business any more!

I have ordered four from their website for the Artec pickups I have to cover. I will let you know when I receive and have the chance to come back to Italy from Poland where unfortunately I am working now.

They look correct to me.  A slight dog ear on the corners of any 35 series pup will be needed to fit them into the cover but that's easy.  The holes will also line up.  The height doesn't really matter unless more than 1/2" of the pickup is going to be above the body which is unlikely.

I received the covers and they are really good. Compared to the three holes covers and pickups that I have they have the same width (91 mm), and the are slightly larger (40 mm) instead of 39 mm. Height is 11 mm.
The corner radius is smaller than the one of th 70's, about 6 mm compared to 7 mm but the measurement is not very accurate. The will fit the Artec perfectly filing the corners with about 1 mm gap in height and width
