I tried one of these in a local store today and I was very impressed. Fit and finish are excellent far better than a Gibson at almost half the price. I love the extra frets and upper register access not to mention the bridge. A great sounding great playing bass. It is however Ugly almost in a NR kind of way. I may have to buy one.

That body shape just doesn't look right to me. Looks like the illegitimate child of a Tele guitar and a Jazz Bass.

Louder bass!.

I like the bass, even the headstock. I tried one at the Messe, without plugging in and it seems to be quite a good bass.

It is neck through, without going over board it sounds more like a '60s bird than a modern Gibson TB plus powered one, a bit more treble snap to it. Plus I felt right at home on it, no "Fender factor" to adjust to.

Interesting, and I wouldn't be ashamed to be seen with it or anything ... but yeah the shape looks somehow off to me. If the upper bout didn't look so much like a tele maybe it would look more like its own thing... as is, it's like a mutant.

For what it's worth, I'd rather go with one of these...
