What's the consensus on this?

For a refin "players guitar" with non-original tuners, the price isn't unreasonable. An all-original would probably be $3K or more. Just keep in mind that 70s LPs, along with 70s Strats, were mainly responsible for the whole vintage market getting started -- because they were considered so much worse than earlier guitars. Now they're vintage and desirable too!
