You can't go wrong with a pair of SGs and a Jazz driving a 360!

I love the military snap and tightness of the drums in this one.

Dennis sounds great with that rig! No matter how hard I try I can't get a jazz bass to sound like that.  ???

The new Welcome to my Nightmare 2 is actually worth a listen if a little disjointed in places. But there are some real tunes on it and Alice is best when he does his garage pop rather than trying to be a heavy metal singer which he obviously isn't and doesn't have (never had) the range for. I love it when he sings ballads and sounds like John Lennon.

Alice is supposedly playing in Charlotte, NC this summer. If so, I'm going to try and go.

He's worth it. Never much of a singer, his voice has aged well and he doesn't attempt anything live he cannot convincingly still do. I saw him together with Whitesnake and the contrast was painful. Coverdale reminded one of what a great singer he had once been in the past, but excruciatingly so. And Uncle (Aunt?) Alice (at least ten years older than Coverdale) showed us how he could still pull it off like he always had.
