Well, life goes on as they say and in this case it's Dr Bassman's life, so much the better. I for one prefer blurry gay bed scenes of questionable taste in his thread to tasteful obituaries! He probably does too.

Hi All,

Been a while since I posted here.  I had my post-treatment CT scan and blood tests this week and all is normal, no signs of cancer!    I am so grateful for the doctors and nurses who took care of me, all of the folks I know (including you guys here) who kept me in their thoughts and prayers and God for making this all possible.  The docs will keep a watchful eye on me from now on, but all is good at present!  So, we'll be partyin' tonight for sure!

Thanks guys!  Yeah Dave, I've been a little absent.  After finishing radiation and feeling sick for 2 weeks afterward and two vacations in August, I had tons of stuff to catch up on in the yard and outside.  Now I'm back to work full-time and it's been crazy.  Hopefully, things will settle down in a couple weeks.  I haven't been in my shop in months and only check in here once a day if I have time.

I'll be more visible after the fall rush of school starting settles down.  Life is good!
