Get back to work ya bum! Getting all mamby pamby because you got a little meat cut out! Your poor wife, humph!

I'm coming up to get my Mustang too. Have to go to Florida and cut doughnuts on Carlo's grass. I think I can take that skinny little grumpy fuggar. He can't be that tuff!!

;) :toast:

Hey CW, good to hear from you!  I hope your recovery is complete now.  You certainly where put through the grinder with your leg.   Work?  What's that?  I took he summer off, good thing I did.  The radiation was worse than the chemo treatments.  You'll have to pry my cold dead hands off the steering wheel to get my GT.

I like the idea of donuts on the lawn!  Sounds like good fun.  I have some neighbors who never mow their lawn,  you can terrorize them for me!

i think you beat me healed Doc. i'm still fighting a little patch but it is so good to have you back. i couldn't drive the Mustang i know you love it too much but maybe you could take momma to Fla anyway to DW in Orlando. you both could use a break from all that crap. i'm heading to my 45th reunion next month and then up to Peoria to pick up a new 15" tone ring cab. take care bro.
I can be true to you sweety until I find a nice medium scale with great breasts. ... CW

So good to hear you're almost there!  Have a safe and fun trip.  I am going to Boulder and then Nova Scotia in August to celebrate.  For now, pizza and beer at home with friends.  Take care!

Good one Uwe!   Makes me think of the Cream tune "I'm So Glad"!

Is that Malcom from Clockwork Orange?

Sure, the final scene when the conservative government offers him an "adequate job in the administration" if he keeps quiet about the Ludovico treatment "as we are now friends, aren't we?". Cynicism can be so uplifting.

Conservatives, bad.  Everyone else, good.   ;D

We actually changed our celebration vacation from Germany to Nova Scotia because August is vacation time in the Fatherland.  So, next year we'll just come over earlier!  Gotta see Uwe while we're there.  And mingle with the natives of our forefathers.

No worries, Anthony Burgess had a suitably causitic view of lefty liberals as well. The liberal left author whose wife is raped by Alex

gleefully tortures him even after Alex is - thanks to the Ludovico treatment - a changed man and unable to be violent anymore.

Clockwork Orange's nihilistic message is that - besides that freedom to be evil is better than subjection to be good - we are all not any better than Alex, just less honest about it. No one gets away unscathed. And that final scene is today probably even more current than it was then.

Right!  Will do Herbie!  I'm feeling really good today, nine days after finishing radiation.  Having friends over for a party to celebrate.  Pizza and beer, woohoo!

Gotta be something highly medicinal in the application of dairy products, bread, hops, barley and friendship.   ;)

After all the radiation treatment, do you still need electrical power feed at home or are you now self-sufficient for the next 10 years? ; - ) All your basses might become active now too ...
