Okay, I thought you were commenting the vid I posted.
Yes, you're right we have some keyboards on our recordings.
We were a four piece (without keys) for years. On CD recordings we just asked some friends of ours to add some Hammond or Rhodes etc.
But we never found the right guy to fit in the band.
Until about a year ago when the keyboard player of my other band joined Superfloor.

I'm afraid I don't have any decent recordings of "Move Over". :-\

Rob... I'm happy to wait...  ;)

Is there a studio version of the Vid... didn't find that one...

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

No not yet. It's a new song. (Under construction even)

We're working on new songs for a new album.
And just last rehearsal we said to each other it's about time to start pre-production. So we're going to record the new songs in the rehearsal room. And then take the recordings home to try some extra parts (harmonies, guitar dubs, percussion, etc).

Great track Harry- love the improv feel to your stuff too.  Its cool you have a drummer to record with!  I always feel that rhythm programming takes some of the spontaneity out of any recordings that I make, and imposes more structure on them - despite wanting things to be more free form at times.  Still trying to navigate my way around that.

Rob- the band (and bass) sounds great in that clip.  I liked the tasteful stuff in the high register at the end.  Proof that there is life beyond the 12th fret!  ;D

Hey guys, one of the bands I'm in that I mentioned earlier (Damages) has a new 7" record out. You can check it out here:

If you like old Discord records type bands or The Jesus Lizard you might like this, otherwise it ain't likely your cup o' tea.

My Original band, formed 8 weeks ago has spent that time writing songs. 12 song ideas culled to 5 for development then culled again to 3 to be recorded. Recording starts tomorrow. Classic rock style, Led Zep/Deep Purple/old style ZZ Top/Allmans etc.

We have a warm up gig with 4 original songs at a small pup on the 18th Feb then we will do the same 4 songs as the middle set of a bigger show by the Crocs on the 26th Feb. This last show will be recorded as well.

Really happy with the Drumming, keys and guitars. I had 2 weeks where I almost didnt pick up my bass which has impacted very badly so I'm not happy with the development of the bass lines or my capacity to play particularly well this weekend  :-[
Originally I planned out a 12 week time frame to get it done based on one 3.5 hour full band practice per week. Producer/Engineer that I want is working at the Port Fairy Folk festival and a few other big jobs he couldn't afford to drop during the next 4 weeks so needless to say that development of the songs is at a point where the arrangements have only just been completed but we haven't had time to polish anything.

Another 4 weeks would have been perfect.

I will post copies when the recordings have been mixed.
