Cool song, I like your tone on that alot!
Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

I'm going to try and post this link again - a couple from MySpace in my profile and video link.

And here's one from YouTube (my old originals band)

And one from the last FDP jam I hosted (using the Magnatone here, and it's a song that my current band does)

a couple  more from the same gig..the 5 year old mosh pit on the stars are exploding cracks me up.im uploading these as widescreen avi files but for some reason you tube is making them 4:3.
Louder bass!.

Basvarken

A hot day in the park.
Yesterday we were back to the old four piece line-up, for once. Our keyboard player had other obligations.
Not a huge problem 'cause we were without keyboards for nearly ten years...

A simple little song: Make Me Over

I like the song, and the mix is right. Always good to be able to hear the bass in the right proportion to the drums and lead.

A little while ago I posted in the Rickenbacker forum about a new song I recorded with my black 4003, called .

But I'm also posting another song from the same session that I recorded with my Telembic (Alembicized Telecaster Bass) - this one is called . I'll post more about it in the thread I have here devoted to the bass, but for now I just wanted to put it up. Unfortunately I don't have any new pics of the bass, but instead of that here's a shot of the beautiful vintage amber Vistalite drums that were used on the session (played by my ever-loyal drummer Greg DeGuglielmo, with whom the song was spontaneously composed):

very nice piece. it certainly opened up memory banks of all kinds of things. was it Can that coined the term spontanious composition. ???

Yup - good call! Can were a huge influence on me - I would love to play bass for Damo Suzuki, who performs 100% improvised on stage, but he can't get a visa to come to the US these days...

clankenstein

that sucks.i saw damo suzuki in london twice with michael karoli and once here in new zealand with some local musicians-great fun.nice track !
Louder bass!.

Cool songs, Willow mass has a very Soft Machine feel to it. I love the free form improve part of Ostranato mid way through the song.

Thanx. Yep, she's Mrs. Basvarken :)
But cool keys? Where?

Janis has never really been a huge inspiration. Of course having female lead vocals in a bluesy rock n soul band brings out that comparison. But Floor is more into (the younger) Tina Turner and Aretha. Plus Cry Of Love and Badlands etc.
Only recently we've added Janis' "Move Over" to our repertoire. I have to admit that fits her voice really well  ;)

Rob... I trawled your "Superfloor" site and some of your studio material, which I think I'll take the plunge on in the near future... that's where I (thought?) I heard some keys work... if you're covering "Move Over" (post please, when u can), seriously consider "Piece Of My Heart"... that would soooooo suit Floor's voice...  8)

You have a really nice bass sound...  8)
