Not the one on YT I linked to previously, this one is about thirty minutes of home movie footage shot by Forrest White in 1957. Unfortunately no sound, but narrated in detail by Richard Smith. The last few minutes are of a NAMM show (Jan. 1958?) and you see not only the Fender booth, but also Rickenbacker, Martin and Gretsch with some well known players and a few execs, including Jerry Byrd with F. C. Hall at the Rick booth and Chet Atkins with Gretsch.

Really cool video. It's very nice to see this kind of stuff.

I watch that and think that OSHA inspectors would crap about every 45 seconds throughout the video.

Interesting!

Fascinating... wonder where the lucite strat is now, and those drapes...

Nearly forgot... the bit showing where Eddie V got his tapping techniques... Jimmy Webster demoing Eddie's techniques before I was born...!
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
