Pretty certain that this is the white EB3 I shipped back because the body was reworked.
If that's the one, I'd avoid at any price.
To start we believe the bass neck is Gibson. We recently found out that the original owner did work on the body at some point. They say they converted it to a Les Paul type and then converted back to an SG shape. What ever that entails we can see is that the body is a two piece made of mahogany now.The pickup cavities look routed however the rest of the body looks professional. The control cavity doesn't look like a Gibson design. We're told the neck was reset. You can feel bumps at the neck heal under the finish. Also the serial number looks re-impressed.It's hard to know anything else because the body was refinished in this nice white color. The refinish looks great and recent. The headstock has two small dings on the back edge. The front has a ding. The frets feel good and might have been replaced in the past few years. The bass scale is 34" which isn't common to the EB series. The bass looks great with parts installed.Keep in mind when buying that we don't really know how authentic this bass really is.
