€7000/$10,000 for an EB-1 reissue? I doubt that even a diehard Felix fan would pay that. You never know, though.

I think someone somewhere may pay that, if it is beyond doubt legit. One of the more famous Gibson basses for sure. Probably not the best time for anyone, anywhere in the world to be splashing out on luxuries though.

I - achingly - paid 5,000 bucks for his 1953 one (and that was only his Second, his First is collecting French fries grease at the Toronto Hard Rock and they reputedly only paid $ 10,000 for that) so this is somewhat mispriced. Felix had about half a dozen EB-1s - both fifties and reissues - when his wife had the gun accident after an agitated discussion on the pros and cons of marital faithfulness.

If I was made of money and it was legit I'd pay 10k. Having said that 5k sounds more realistic.

I wonder how many of these Felix had? I believe that Leslie West still has yet another one of Felix's EB-1s.  ???
