The Ramones recorded a nice version of this. Here's one with a Rivoli.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

I know it was the fashion of the time, but my Rivoli was painful to play on a short strap. So many Brit Invasion bassists played Rivolis on short straps, with the right elbow and wrist of the picking hand running at some horrible angle to compensate.

OMG Alan, get a grip! Do you really need a petite girl to show you how and where to hang it?

If Little Suzi didn't think it was

T O O   B I G  . . .

BTW: Alistair McKenzie was a severely underrated rock piano player, let's not hold his apparently Scottish descent against him all too much. Suzi's singles weren't augmented by sessioneers (like a lot of glam rock releases were), it was her and her boys playing and singing. She had to let Alistair go for drug-related reasons, but her band never sounded the same again. He really hammered on that Wurlitzer.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...

Hardly ever see anyone using the hand rest like that. That's some hot and fuzzy tone there. Good for Cheryl putting it to use in a modern context.

Theme From an Imaginary Western always gets me. Such a beautiful song. I never saw this TV footage before, sounds pretty good.
