I know Wigwam from their earlier incarnation with Pekka Pohjola on bass

One of the finest bass players ever, IMO. An incredible composer as well.

Ya don't hear bands taking chances these days like Magazine did up there.
Never knew this version of Fever before. Shout out to local New Hampshire radio station WGAM.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

Dave always says that Rick Derringer and Suzi Quatro are one and the same person and this really proves it!

It's an enduring number which I always dug.

That is the first and only tune I've ever heard her actually SING. Everything else I've heard was basically whispering and left me completely cold.

I'm much more impressed with her vocal capability now! That was very well done, and her changes were right on target, including some nice note transitions. Even Peggy Lee would have liked that version.

Now if she just hadn't been used for the theme in the Bond movie No Time to Die, I might be a fan. I thought that theme really stunk, and now that I know she can actually sing, I know she could have done it better. I don't care that she won an award for it.

Not sure this is a Gibson.

Looks like an EB0 with an extra mudbucker at the bridge.

Eilish, Taylor, Lady Gaga - I know I'm not their core audience nor would I like to be, but they are not manufactured bimbos like Britney. They have latched onto the psyche/musical requirements/desires of girls to women plus the LGBTQ crowd and they obviously resonate there. They must be doing something right.

It's also a fruits of empowerment thing - there were really no women artists in the late 60s, 70s and 80s with mass appeal that concentrated on a (mainly) female audience like that (someone like, say, Joni Mitchell had cross-gender appeal). I guess Alanis Morissette was among the first and that was almost 30 years ago.

I haven't paid much attention to the music of Billie Eilish or Taylor Swift, but Lady Gaga is genuinely insanely talented.  I'd love to see her do some real rock and roll stuff.  I've seen clips here and there.  It would be great.
