Went to a Rockies-Diamondbacks game last night in Denver.  Fantastic evening, lovely warm night.  It was in the high 70s downtown...set a new high temp record for the date by 8 degrees!  Newspaper story today: "Saturday's high breaks the record by 8 degrees, but metro area could see snow, lows in20s tonight."

Anyone else get 60 degree swings from day to day where they live? Keeps life interesting. The wind is picking up outside and the temp will drop as the air moves.

Isn't there a nice range fire going on outside of Ft.Collins too.............

Why, of COURSE! We have all the cultural advantages here. And you can just imagine what the 40 mph winds do to encourage any small fire in a field...

We have had a very dry winter here, so I expect more grass fires.

Raining lots here, potential lowland flooding for the next three days. Gotta love Seattle, there's a million shades of gray!

Just to follow up, it was mid-50's when I got up at 8 (woo-hoo..slept in!), temp started dropping by 10, it turned grey outside (maybe Mark sent us a bit of the stuff Seattle had to spare) and it began raining lightly, and at 12:35 PM it's under 40 and snowing lightly outside.

It will be interesting to see what it's doing by evening.  I am holed up in the family room next to a picture window onto the back yard, watching an HD TV and on my handy-dandy laptop, grading papers for the online class I teach.  Just ending the 1972 movie Deliverance.

Mid-30's outside, finished more papers and The Shawshank Redemption.  My lovely wife made chocolate-chocolate-chip cookies.

I need more Sundays like this!
