(Zeppelin is for Christmas, not for life...) ;D

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

I actually bought a BCR single once. NO REALLY!   I bought Money Honey. Catchy R&R tune. I loved the gravel in the vocals and it was played with a great down and dirty attitude. Couldn't bring myself to buy tartan for my jeans though.

I was of course ridiculed by my Deep Purple/Led Zep enamoured musical colleagues at the time but I still like to listen to this song even now.

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

Okay, I've remained silent long enough... (get up off the floor... that is not a funny comment...)

You... people... You have no idea... what it was like... to live through that period... in the same house as a person that was a "Rollers" fan... tartan... the works...

i prefer the dusty springfield version. why wouldn't i. the less bombastic production and dusty's voice made the song even more alluring to a fumbling teenage me. :-[

I also prefer the Dusty Springfield version, but the Joss Stone version is impressive.

Well I'd rather listen to Dusty, but I don't mind watching Joss.

Same here. Joss' wardrobe is impressive.

I really liked Dusty's voice but I never could understand why so many guys thought she was hot.

Tina's version is hottest, but I lik'em all.

Well said...but that version by Joss is impressive.  They're ALL excellent!

You sound just like my cousin.  What a Tina Turner fan that guy is and has been since he was a teenager.

I even liked when Pet Shop Boys used here on that song.  Couldn't say I was a fan of her later look with the perm and all.....She was taken too soon though.

To me, there was something very mannish about Dusty. Not in that photo, but in many others and when she performed on tv.
