Ah, from that healthcare nation the USA is under! Willkommen.

(So he doesn't wear fur and he's not bearded. Fat chance he's a BTO member then. Sigh.)

I guess the Cannucks are as rare a breed here as us Eurotrash, too... ;D

Welcome (verdigris'd and tarnished in the UK)
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Welcome Muzold. I too am an owner and a fan of gutted and customised Dean Edge basses. Mine is a 4 string with Passive EMG's, CTS pots, Switchcraft output and a Gotoh 201 bridge.

I have two Dean Flying V basses ... one of them

will inevitably derail this innocent thread to the non-subject of assless chaps I fear ...

I lik'em too. They play to my most primal and archaic instincts, just like Status Quo. To me BTO is like a rocked up CCR though admittedly Herr Bachmann isn't quite the songwriter Herr Fogerty is, but he's good enough to tap your feet to and be instantly put in a good mood.

What bass is that C.F. Turner (back then generally a Ricster) is playing in that footage?  :o Looks Les Paulish, but is a long scale ...   ???

We had the track coach for P.E. back in High School, he'd make us run "stairs" as part of our warm up - we'd sing "Takin' care of business" while running them because it pissed him off  ;D
Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

I'm terrible at spotting Guilds unless they are B-302s.   :-[

Sure.

Why should I sell it? And into a country where they shoot basses?!!!! Orville Gibson forbid!

What kind of music do you play/like to play?

Hey, and it could have been a lot worse, we could have welcomed you with jokes about Canadian bands that write instrumentals about license plates ... But we really didn't want to rush things. Yet.

Please feel uninhibited und turn yourself loose here, we cannuck get enough of ...
