too bad it would be too difficult to put a 1/16" bead around the ebony/rosewood disc before you set it in the upper bout on snipers spaltercaster.

Are you trying to create more work for me?   :P   I do have some very thin white binding that would set it off nicely.  Maybe I'll try that.  We'll see.

See, I have to find them ...then  clean them . I find these projects & start tinkering so I never really get ahead of the mess. I decided to concentrate on the reorganization /cleaning but man is it tough.
I am gonna crank up the lathe for a repair on a friends Windsor chair. I may throw a piece o rosewood on there  & give her a spin for ya

I have some options and if the products are different enough, you're OK in most cases.  I'm working on it.

I hear ya.  I tried to clean part of the basement for shop expansion and I barely made a dent.  What a hassle!  I need a good maid!

I did a trademark search and Dr. Bass under musical instruments is still available.  So, I'm on it.

It's going to get a logo treatment this weekend and then I can finally start some finish work on it.

as much as i love to see installments on my bass, i am really looking for new updates on the Billy-Bo, the EB rebuild along with a pic of the vacuum press.
