Gibson USA Thunderbird case for $50 plus shipping!

Someone was selling a Ripper case on eBay as well but he also had an early Ripper pg in the case, to be sold separately. Emailed him and it was mine for $30 shipped. It's a nice one too, no cracks, no chunks missing, torty, etc AND finally, this one fits the Smurf Ripper! It's about damn time too...

Welllllll, the guy who has the case emailed me late last night and told me that in the process of moving it from the storage unit to his house it fell off the back of the truck and was badly damaged. I can't imagine it looks too good... :P

That's too bad. If the frame is cracked, better pass.

Worse than I hoped. His wife who was following in her car ran over it...

It really is a genuine Thunderbird case.

I'm not sure. Wouldn't a genuine Thunderbird case have leaped out on its own and thrown itself under the wheels?

That case had a bad kharma. Consider yourself lucky that all this happened BEFORE you put something in there.

Probably a good way of looking at it. The case was destined for being reworked for my TH-2...
