Hamer FB VIII Thunderbird 8 string bass coming along

Looks great!

As some of you may know I had my Korean made Hamer CH-12 slaughtered and the neck was married with a B-12S style body. The neck was and is very sturdy and good (the original body wasn't) and I was wondering if the current Chinese ones have similar necks? A Chinese CH-12 could be a cheap one for another project 'cause you can't have too many 12-strings can you?

I suppose...But I wanted all American made parts on this bass. This is Little Daddy Roth's Trippin Uncle Bob's Blues and some other flake that I bought on Ebay. I had my Buddy Ben Lindsey from Madison's Music paint it for me since I don't have a spray booth! Ben does the best paint jobs in america or at least one of the TOP guys. His sunbursts are the Best in the US period.
    Jon, I'm NOT selling this one. Period. I don't even think I would trade it for my old Cheap Trick 8 string I sold you!!! Ha! But thanks for the compliment!!! And the Hamer Chap 8 string!!!

     George, thanks for posting pics!!! Will have more when It's finished. Bout one more week or so!!! YAY!!!! Then It will be time to finish my Korina Futura 8 string bass!!! Oh yeah....8 string Baby!!!!

   Jon, I'm NOT selling this one. Period.

....BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA (uttered in a deep dark evil tone, with the "Theme From Jaws" playing in the background.) That's the THIRD Hamer 8-string I've sold you.....they don't seem to last very long in "Casa De Bazo." But I WILL bet this one lasts at least 10 months

Hey Jon, Baz sure throw in the full set of tuners and strings ... 

Actually I'm more into 8 string playing for now. That's the reason for the (temporary) conversion.

The only thing keeping me from lusting after that is the 8 strings - my fingers aren't that clever.
