Blown Eden D210XLT
« on: October 15, 2010, 06:52:03 AM »
Yesterday I lent one of my Eden D210XLT cabs to a collegue bass player.

Today he rings me up says it's blown. It gives the typical farting sound...

So now I'm going to have to replace the speakers.
Any idea if the original Eden speakers can be ordered separately?
If I'm not mistaken it's this model: EC-1060XL

Or maybe and Eminence as a replacement?
I've seen good reviews about the Deltalite II 2510.
Good thing is they're much lighter, so that should be easier on my back.
Never heard them in real life though.
I gotta admit I'm still very happy with the Eden cabs I have, so I'm not too sure if I want change the character...

Any ideas?

With something like an Eden, I'd want to be certain of a match...

Only ever giged one once and I was SERIOUSLY impressed, but way above my payscale... an 18 and a 2x10

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
