Tatty but tasty! BTW the dr201 is enough to drive both those cabs. What's that thing on the right? Looks odd.... ;) Or maybe outta place..!
That "thing" is a mid 70's Marshall 2x12, it came with their first solid state amps. Great sounding cab a volume ! Yes the DR201 is more than enough to power the two cabs. The 100w will power the 2x12. Eventually I want two DR201s and four Hiwatt cabs, till then I have to make do with what I have. I still have JCM800 Marshall 4x12 and a 2x15

Don't know if I can do it Joe. I have owned that amp since '83. I'm a sentimental sort, it would be tough to sell.

A 201 slave amp would be just the ticket. Twiddle on the one tone stack for both amps and Bob's your Uncle!! You could drown out a Phish concert in Burlington... from your house! :o

Psycho Bass Guy

...best live bass sound I've ever heard in concert was the Supersuckers with Eddie Spaghetti playing a 90's Gibson Les Paul standard bass through two SVT cabs on either side of the stage, one powered by an SVT head, the other by a Hiwatt 201 slave head. Your Marshall cabs are pretty kickass already. I wouldn't get too hung up n the "brand" thing.
