Ya mean like this???

Hard to tell. The bottom box has the smaller nameplate like mine, but my grill frame is more or less flush with the front of the cab. The grillcloth on mine is black, as well. Did your come with the salt-n-pepper cloth?

Very nice rig, imo - no envy... I just couldn't afford the chiropractor bills... ;)

Me, too!  I love the look but love my lightweight Genz-Benz gear more.

Kenny, you crack me up!!!! You and Scott inspired me to get a Hiwatt!!!  As far as gigs...I would only use a 1/2 stack unless it was a big Big place. Did Hiwatt ever make any small portable rigs??? I wish!!! ha!

Thanks for the compliments, Fellas! I really appreciate it. Now..it seems I've stepped it up a notch. When people hear I play through a Hiwatt....they stop and listen...like that old EF Hutton commercial. Crazy. But it's all about the tone and nothing else.

I love the sound of a Hiwatt stack!  If I had roadies I'd have one for sure. (well, if I had a few extra $$ too!)

It has taken me YEARS to work up to getting this stuff. I learned a long time ago from my first drummer....don't be afraid to spend money or gear. It's just acquiring it that's the hard part!!!

I started on this road way back in '76 or so I bought a new (it had been sitting at the store for a few years) Hiwatt 2150 Great sounding cab. The problem was being stuck in upstate NY Hiwatt gear was tough to come by and also very expensive, the 2150 cost me $350.00 (dealer cost) way back then ! For a lack of anything better to buy I started buying Marshall stuff Which served me well for many years. I sold my Hiwatt 2150 in '89 and have regretted it ever since. About five years ago i bought my Hiwatt Bass 100, not a true Hiwatt but it was a start. The I lucked out and got my DR201 from SLADE's back line about two years ago. This year I was able to secure a well worn but great sounding 2150 from birdie(Leslie) and now finally a SE4123 from this guy down the Thruway. At 51 I ain't getting any younger and I figure it is about time I got exactly what I want !
