Man I wish I had the skills that some of you guys have.

You're pretty skillful with the knuckle, according to Kevin Foley :-)
Cheers

By a magazine, do you mean a "Chelsea Brick" or something for the rifle...? ;D

Without wanting to hijack the thread: This is what Mark and I are talking about for those bored interested enough.

In Short the two highest ranking politicians in South Aust are also the two least liked. Both have been whacked in the head by members of the public during their tenure in govt.

Aww crap! C'mon Mark this is a work computer. The boss is frowning at me as I clean the coffee from my monitor and I reckon a new keyboard might need to be requested from IT.

1.67 million = population of SA for those trying to follow.

Wanna get this in quickly before Dave locks the thread due to political content.;)

Here's my spray booth viewed from the filter side.  First color coats sanded

Second application of 2 double wet coats, last Wednesday.

Rubber block sanded up to 2000 today after realizing there is enough paint coverage and Clear coat is unnecessary.  Notice edges, they are completely unsanded.  Generally IMO it's not necessary to sand radiused edges after the final coats.  If prep work is done right they will be smooth enough to go directly to compound which helps reduce the possibility of burning thru the finish.

Compounded

I'll polish the body in a few days.  P/G, pup rings and neck finish next.  Then assembly and final set up.

I have an electric space heater in the shop, ditto the house plus an electric blanket. It was 28F this AM @7 but up to 55 in the sun by noon, and dry.  About the same for the next 5 days. I'm seriously considering a more civilized solution for my trailer.  Either that or live in the shop for the winter.  Or move to the real Florida.

Gettin' close.  Final polish and setup tomorrow.  Plastic is still on the pickguard.  Bartolini pups.
