My new Kindergartner had his first show and tell today. They had to do something that started with an 'a' or 'b'. Last night, while we discussed his options, he skipped right past 'a' and declared, "I'll take MY blue bass!"

So his first ever show and tell was a blue Bach Non Reverse Thunderbird bass. Times like these I love being a dad!

A chip off the old block.  :)

Looks like he already has his priorities in order.

Wouldn't be neck diving with him... more like ploughing... ;)

Nice one...

Time for junior family shots guys... I've posted this before (I think) of Roshina practicing her tapping (not) about 10 years back with Ol' Tequila but what the heck...

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Love that shot, Kenny.

So far the boy expresses more interest in guitar, but he claimed that Bach the second I opened the box (literally), so there's still hope. He's already decided his younger brother will play drums (with him singing and playing guitar) and their band will be called Tomatoes. And no, I have no idea how he decided on the name!

Great photos!  They grow up too fast.  My son will be 11 in January and I snapped this one several years ago.  Looks like he is leaning towards fretless.  He was almost 11 months at the time.

Veggie Tales meets The Wiggles? ;D

Great pic BTW!  Do you get to go to Show and Tell with him?

Remember, some of those school teachers are hotties! ;)

OldManC

Unfortunately I didn't get to see him in action. I was just hoping he wouldn't drop the bass at any point during the day. It survived intact so I was an even happier daddy when I picked him up after school. His teacher is cute but looks young enough to be my daughter, so I won't even go there!

I can't find a reason why you should restrain yourself like this, really...
Don't be stupid, be a smartie - come and join die schwarze Hardware party!

Hey OldManC, that's a really cute kid!  I'll bet he's a real charmer - especially for dad!

Of course, I know that all my daughters have to do is use the word "Daddy" and I know I'm doomed to say Yes....

The wedding ring, for one.  ;)

And yeah, he can pretty much work me over for anything... There's no telling what kind of damage could be done if I had a daughter!
