Gentlemen,

I can offer the BaCHbird for the following price EDIT :

TH-1 (with one pickup): 254,60 euro (no vat for people in USA)
in the colors black, white, sonic blue, transparent red or honeyburst

TH-2 (with two pickups): 277,30 euro (no vat for people in USA)
for the time being only available in transparent red

Shipping EDIT:
So far the best option is shipping with DPD. That would be 115,20 euro to the US.
The package is fully insured.
DEliveru between 3-8 business days

Case
A matching case costs 105 euro
It is possible the shipping of a bass plus case is a little bit more expensive because it is a bit heavier.

Let me know if you're interested. I'm sure we can work something out.

No problem Rob count me in for a TH-1 in trans. red  :) My first Bach arrived via the US Post Office maybe that is a option to explore ? Less than Fed Ex I am sure and you can insure for the full value.

Thanx Scott. The TNT Post is the Dutch equivalent of US Post Office.
I sent them an email to ask about raising the insured value

I found another parcel service: DPD

The bass is then fully insured.

It takes 3 -8 business days from The Netherlands to USA

Rob, I'm sure you can do something at your end about the VAT. I just got a guitar DVD from a company in Eindhoven, 19% VAT was listed in the cost but not charged to US customers.

I will ask my accountant. I'm a total newbie on this  :-[

Looks good, Rob. How sure is BaCH that the honeyburst TH-2s will be built? I'd hate to hold out for one of those, then find they've decided against making that one and miss my chance.
Thanks!

I need an information to buy the pickup used in the Bachbird: I realized that it is different from that I can find listed in ebay. Where I can find the one used in the Bach?

I think it's an Alnico but not sure. It's in that very long BaCHbird thread somewhere though.

The pickup is an Artec pickup.  I have one that I'm not using right now, if you're interested in a deal.  I put a '60s Gibson in my BaCHBird.  You can find these up on eBay pretty frequently.
