It took me a little time at the bank too, in fact the branch manager helped me - he ended up calling the bank's help telephone # to actually process the transaction. He said the money transfers as dollars to Frankfurt (Our Gruppenfuhrer's hometown)  and gets converted to Euros there and passes on to the Czech Republic. I also did my wire transfer on a Friday and it was Wednesday the following week before I had an email from Roman that my bass was shipping - so be patient  ;)

You yanks and your old-fashioned payment by cheque culture crack me up. Wire transfers seem to make you grow grey hairs.

Has any of you guys seen Krishna (Boston Guitar Repair/ Guitar Garage) around lately?
Krishna has been a major help for me/us with the measurements and detailed pictures.
I would hate to hear that BaCH forgot about him.

I know there is a post in the Fender forum about a Tele bass he restored, maybe the owner can get a hold of him

Man, Roman has to get a better ISP. Their White list / Black list sucks big time.

Krishna is registered here as bostonguitarrepair, you can always PM him and see if he's heard from Roman.

I sent him an e-mail to see how he's doing and to hear if he's received his BaCHbird yet.

Well.....................no word back from Roman (again)...............last message from him was that my order had been cancelled (the one that went to Scott (GOT) but he would get back with me on Friday with (hopefully) a new invoice.
I know his e-mails get back to me, whether he replies as Roman@BaCH or BaChMusic@Bachmusic, they don't even get hung up in my spamfilter. I'll shoot him another message on Monday if I don't hear from him. After reading how much everyone seem to like this bass I'm looking forward to getting mine.
Well, I'll keep everyone posted.

Cheers,

Scott ( not that Scott, the other Scott ) .................now the real funny bit is I work with.....yet another Scott.......it's like an Abbot & Costello routine at work sometimes ;D
