LOL your right Rob ! I just couldn't bear to drill more hole in such a beautiful bass (take that as a compliment!). I am making up a new batch of guards and will do one for myself with the correct hole pattern.

Scott- please let us know when you have a batch ready.  I'd love to get one of these 'guards from you.

Thanks!

Denis

Mine require a bit of setup before I could play it (I don't know enough about bridge adjustments, etc yet), so once I got it back and relocated the front pin I could play it. It still has a lot of neck dive, I think due to the combination of large headstock and thinner body the last 30 had. It's taking some time to get used to the thinner, narrower neck too, but that's because I've been playing the Thunderbird and the Ripper a lot. The BaCHbird definitely sounds different from the other basses though!

It's longer than any of my other basses including the Epi T-birds. Can anyone suggest a case in which it will fit?
Thanks!

Epi Explorer Bass case.

I liked Marks solution. The Ep Explorer case is friggen huge. Better to find something smaller IMHO.

Rob rebuilt an Epi T-bird case. I think his pic's are buried in this thread somewhere.

Correct. Use the search option and look for "epiphone case thunderbird". You'll get my post plus pics.

What's this I see listed on the BaCH page under TH-1? :o

Has Roman been holding out on us?  ;)

There might be shipping size limits, and even if not, I wouldn't be surprised if the additional shipping cost would be more than the cost of the case.

hollowbody

Yeah, I thought that it would probably be cost prohibitive to ship it to the USA but it  shouldn't be too bad for overseas members.

Basvarken

Haha, The BaCHboys are a riot.
Roman never told me they were going to do a case for the BaCHbird!
And boy is it cheap: 94 dollar!

You guys are probably right about the shipping problem. It is kinda oversized...
