I know a few people here participated in this CD project.  I believe it was done around 2005.  Does anyone know if John Fertig is on the Outpost?  He was the person responsible for the CD IIRC.  I participated on it with a recording my old band did in the late 1990's featuring a Gibson "V" bass. (5 string)  Uwe has a great track featuring one of his vintage 'Birds.  Just wondering if anyone has heard from John.

I can't recall Mark.  Maybe someone will remember it.

I think he used to known as Red Bird at the Pit, but he's known as Barkless Dog here and is on most days.

John was Fenderbird at DPv.1, Redbird at DPv.2, Barklessdog at DPv.3 and here. He's one of our most frequent posters.

Anybody who cares for the CD, I still have a few.

Maybe it's time for a CD from the Last Bass Outpost?...

Of the 15 contributors to that CD, 13 are members here, although one of them (Granny Gremlin) hasn't logged in for over a year.

I think a CD would be a great idea.  Coordinating would be the challenge, but it sure could be fun.

Only studio stuff I have is with the Peter Cook and that's 23 years old...

Interesting idea though...

It needs a companion book to go with it  ;)

I'll volunteer for the (comedic) bios - I'm guilty of enough output as it is...  ;D

we wouldn't necessarily have to do it the same way... what with everyone having broadband, couldn't we do more easily via uploading and downloading.

I'd certainly like to hear a part two

Being a newbie, has anyone got a list of the originals or could run one off for me...?

I could mail a CD to you Kenny.  Or maybe someone with better computer knowledge could download it to their computer and send it your way.  Nice to know Barklessdog is here and well.  I found the envelope he mailed mine in and it just had his name on the return address.
