Yessir, evidence points to the fact that this is definitely a "dawg".

And the narrator should go to work doing voice-overs in cartoons.  He has the perfect accent for it.

Basenji's absolutely hate water and typically will not go in it. However there are a few who have been trained to venture in shallows.

Basenjis are well known for having a total dislike of wet and cold weather. No basenji wants to be left outside on a cold night, or do they like to be seperated from their family. If you do not wish to have your dog, living inside and being a total part of the family. Then a basenji is not the breed for you. Basenjis can and do adjust to living outside, but if you want a dog that is 100% happy with his life and who will reward you inturn for his happiness, then you should consider that your basenji should be a house dog.
