err... you just did...  ;)

Seriously, I'm never bothered by what someone else likes, I'm just not going to acknowledge that the music or musicians are great.

Uwe never forgets anything. This dates from fusion and prog discussions at the old Pit about 6 years ago. I expressed my extreme dislike of a certain "mahavishnu"  :puke: - oops, there's that gag reflex again.  8)  We had a lively discussion. Or two or three.

Anyway, proceed. Don't mind me. There's no disputing taste.

Damn, Dave, that was the funniest episode ever!
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.

Nocturnal

That is still one of my favorite episodes of that show.

Highlander

The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

What an obscene distortion of history! Poland did.

As a part time dj, I resent a radio station being blamed in any way!

I might as well continue to wave the Swedish flag. Made In Sweden featuring Georg Wadenius who also played guitar in Blood Sweat and Tears '72-'75. There's even a bass solo here to Dave's delight.  :P

There are three big, honking pickups on that bass.  :)

That bass player should have given himself the artist name Stæk Åtø. Pronounced staccato.

What is it that forces so many Jazz players to play these machine gun burst of chromatic notes when they solo?  :-\ I miss the point entirely, it is neither rhythmic nor melodic and John McLauglin and Al di Meola are still faster than they.

I actually enjoyed it up to the bass solo. Few bass & drum solos I can sit through.

I don't mind a melodically or rhythmically interesting bass solo at all, you are even allowed to play harmonies with me. But not these 16th note bursts that make no sense nor please the ear.
