Don't know if I'll be able to move on this one, if it goes over $350 (which I'm pretty sure it will) then I'm out.
Wish my damn tax refund would hurry up and arrive! :(

Already more than that, and it will need more than "a little TLC."

Still a fair price for a lefty.
Remember leftys usually command higher prices.

Yes, I expected it to exceede my limit rather quickly, I am guessing this will in up in the $600 range. Still, if someone can do the repairs themselves they'll end up with a heck of a deal.

I agree. Still regret passing on a late 70s Azureglo 4001 about 7 years ago. Only $700 and no issues, just figured I didn't need another Rick at that time.

Ended at $560

Do Ric fit "R/H" necks on "lefties" as standard...? (same as on the "dot" neck on the 4001 Ilan posted on the "cool" thread)

Yes, up to around 1990. Here's a shot of my lefty Rics, two are pre-1990, two are post.

Yes, up until just recently. But even now they still use a RH fretboard. And this is one of the real issues I have with Ric and why I will never buy a new one, I don't want to give Jim Hall a single dime of my money.

I find it highly insulting that not only do you not get a fully left handed instrument, you have to pay extra for the "privilege" (last time I checked the lefty markup was 10%, God only knows what it is now). I don't care what Paul McCartney played, if I order a left handed instrument I expect a fully left handed instrument!

Incorrect. As I said in an earlier post, they switched to a lefty neck in the early 90s, not "just recently", and "even now they still use a RH fretboard" is also incorrect information, they changed to lefty inlays a few years ago. See below.

I stand corrected.
Good to see they are finally doing it properly. A shame it took them so long.
