Cool.

That Tele looks like a toy on Tom Hamilton.
While Joe Perry looks just right at home on the Tbird II (and Steven Tyler not so much)

Perry epitomizes cool and looks good with the Bird, but somehow something isn't right. Hamilton looks like Zander of Cheap Trick!

Tom Hamilton plays so many different basses it's not surprising he may not look natural with a particular one.

I didn't know Aerosmith's financial dire straits were such they would have to share one bass among three musicians at a gig!

He doesn't play a bass in this clip. He plays a Telecaster guitar. It looks tiny on him.

Teles look tiny on anybody. Status Quo excepted.

That's really cool!

I've always really liked Joe Perry a lot, for both his playing  and that fact that he's (to my eye) a pretty attractive guy......... ;)

Mark, someone has to break it to you: He has a wife.

OTOH, in this day and age, who knows, you might be commemorated like her too, only of course on a TBird!

It's not like Aerosmith haven't given the issue a thought or two:

Nocturnal

It looks to me like Brad W. is playing the Tele and Tom H. is playing the SG.

Oh, I see.  I didn't watch the clip; I just assumed since it was Tom Hamilton he would be playing a bass.  Actually, I used to have a vintage telecaster myself, but it got stolen.  I didn't bother replacing it for a long time since I'm not interested in guitars anyway.  I did buy a Gretsch years after that, but ended up giving it away.  It was one of those cheap Gretch guitars, though.  However, the Telecaster guitar was obviously not cheap.

It took her the better part of 30 years, but Frau Jett has finally succeeded in emulating her forever-idol, Fräulein Quatro, perfectly.

Even the production sound is Chinn/Chapman'ish and the songwriting as well even though with Chinn/Chapman the chorus hookline wouldn't have been quite as naff. And Suzi didn't need to wear just a bra to elevate my thoughts either. That said ... at around .39 here ...

"Primitive Love" - a track considered too risque to ever be a single ("rough and tough ... but I don't care") - brings back some fond memories.
