I should just buy another Bach and put this thing out of my head.

Buy 4 BaCHs and put this thing out of your head... ;D

You know Scott, sooner or later you are going to put a model G in it, so you might as well get the Bachbrid.

It's still comparatively low. I find that weird unless the market for vintage gear has collapsed even more than I thought. Or something we all don't see is wrong with the bass.

You'd have expected that the bass be by now in a range where only "big boys" still bid. BTW since some of you asked: I'm not gonna be one of them. I'm happy with my refin pelham blue Non Rev IV my luthier resurrected from a horrible super glue neck break repair.

You heard that right, I don't collect for fins.  :)

(Damn... sorry Bro...)

Uwe, I've had a re-think... there is absolutely no point in having multiples of what is essentially the same instrument...  ;)

Now I'm bidding on it, i.e. have instructed my investment bankers to do so for me.

Just joking, I'm happy with what I got. We all should be.

I am very happy with what I have, I am one lucky mofo for sure. My collection of birds is rather motley It would be nice to have something of real collector quality. With the economy being the way it is this may be a rare chance to get a collectors piece for a bargain. I don't think it will stay low, the big guns will come out and most likely soar past my highest bid, but a fellow can dream right ?
