If this is an original cardinal red and the headstock is unbroken, then she's indeed something we haven't seen for a long time and in excellent condition.

Can't be from 65 though, that was still the rev era.

Look at it this way: You'll be without a home, but with another Bird!

It looks like it even has the original mutes under the bridge cover.

That is one beautiful bass! I have the feeling it'll fetch some $$$$

That would be two T-birds I did you a good turn on!

I bet I could sell my all my basses and not have enough to snag this one. I'm curious to see what it eventually goes for. I think in the  past year it's only the third NR I've seen on eBay, and one of those was pretty mangled and still went for almost $2k.

Denis I'll give you credit for the '76 but I have been watching this since the hour it popped up ;)

It'll be interesting to see what it goes for in this economic climate. I know of a burst IV in equal condition that went for $8000 about three years ago, so we'll see. This one being a rare color is one up on that one though.

Denis

I read over on Jules site that Glen Cornick's NR Thunderbird he had when he played with Wild Turkey was one of the metallic green ones. That HAS to be rare! Does a breakdown on colors for the NRs exist?

I should just buy another Bach and put this thing out of my head.
