True enough but I have a secret weapon in the form of friends in Baltimore and Richmond!

Around here $500 would probably get you the head and cab.

I love the vintage stuff too and if we're talking about a vintage head , I get it. If you're trying to match up a vintage head with a vintage cab to get the whole package, I get that too. But a vintage cab by itself, I don't get all that excited. The newer cabs and speakers beat the hell out of the old stuff and they weigh in at a fraction of the vintage artillery.
I do love the old Sunn stuff . One of my favorite set ups from yesteryear , but you can get a better sound these days in a smaller lighter package.

I probably would have paid that for the cabinet.  Would have gone great with my early 1970's Coliseum Bass head.

Exactly! When I saw Red Fang in Raleigh earlier this year, they were using Sunn heads and cabs exclusively and I'm not sure I've heard a better sounding setup since.

For you and your Coliseum that would have been perfect ;D

So you got the cabinet?  It is in great shape for one that old.

W/ my dr 105, my 62 p and labella flats, one of my all-time favorite combinations !!
