Char had her first Jazz band concert of the year last night ! Holy cow has she improved she gave quite a performance, one of the more animated kids on stage and her execution was near perfect ! Very very proud papa ! I had to laugh the people in back of us were commenting oh wow look there is a girl playing bass, I just smiled to myself.  :)

Cool!

Won't be long before she's borrowing yours (basses, not do-rags).  8)

Great photos that will last a lifetime.

I've been blessed twice this year with a talented young girl sitting in on drums at a church gig. It's nice to see enthusiasm for music at a time when schools have been cutting back on arts programs.

True dat!  My son took less than six months with the Dano I got him before he commandeered my Hamer.

Isn't it cool watching your kids follow in your footsteps?  Cool pics.

It's true about permanently "borrowing" basses...my middle son has latched onto my MIM Precision.  The other two boys all have their own instruments, though.

Lucky for me, they were all "too good" for the Danos, and no one likes the EUB.

You must be very proud, Scott...maybe a T-Bird could be a graduation present.
