I just doubleclicked on the video to open it in a regular YouTube window, then copied the regular URL from the box. It won't work with any embedding or playlist suffixes.

That's really cool,  Scott! See, old Gibson dogs can learn new tricks!

godofthunder

Thanks George but it takes a awful lot of concentration on my part ! Run through the Hiwatts and my Seymour Duncan Pick up booster the bass does have balls even with flats on it, flats and a Fender who would have thunk ?

Must be the influence of that Hiwatt of yours...  ;)

LOL I totally agree ! The real weird thing was the other band that played with us did Quiet Riots version of Cum On Feel The Noize  :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: And there right behind them was one of the Hiwatt's that blasted that song to audiences across the globe.......................ah such irony

Oh my, that is ironic......and too bad for audience, too!  I'm envious Scott, I miss my R&R band, but not the drama.  I'm playing bluegrass on guitard tomorrow night!  Oh well, at least I'm playing something with strings with other living beings!

There's a certain bitter-sweetness to that irony, Scott...

Bill I am lucky, not that there isn't any drama but I work with a great bunch of guys and after almost nine years of being the new guy there isn't much we can't say to each other. I am still working up my mandolin skills Maybe we can jam some blue grass sometime ?

Thats a real cool version of Carly's song! Not to mention how Warren "Vain" Beatty would be pleased that this song is still being sung about him!

Thanks Uwe ! I was skeptical when the guys first suggested it but man does it go over with the chicks !

Yeah, I was impressed by the song choice too - nice interpretation. And definitely impressed by the live fretless bass!
