very cheap Greco SG RI style bass at Ishibashi ....

Approx $500 shipped.  Set neck.  From what I can barely make out of the serial number it looks to be from 1989.

Stock number is 326293601-19

Wow - that brings back memories! One of my first-ever basses when I lived in Japan in the '80s was a Greco EB-3 copy that I bought from a kid who was older than me. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures and I sold it pretty quickly, plus I was very green  :mrgreen:   so I can't comment on how "good" a bass it was. It must have been 8th grade, '83-'84, I think I moved on to a Fernandes Paul McCartney Rick copy after that...

The tuners look as good as a Kalamazoo's.
Model One and Schallers?  Ish.
