To Uwe. Hard to believe Björn was 59 years when this was recorded and he's not the guy who'd go through plastic surgery nor Botox injections.

This guy probably already had his lifetime dose of Botox (sensitive viewers beware):

I like that Big Band version and even Hasselhoff's version can't kill the song (no issue with his voice or the intentionally cheesy vid, but the electronic rhythm section is horrible).

In my opinion, that big band version really sucks! If there's anything that's really hard to stand, it's those takes to transform former hits to wanna-be-Sinatra-land. Ouch!

I have to agree here. I don't mind big band stuff, but this one falls very short of the mark to me.

Man, that should be put under the headline "Terror", and buried deep beneath the sand, where ol' Booney wrote his love letters. Phew!!! Days like these, I'm satisfied to know that there's soon a weekend to come...

Staffan is kind of testy today, must be that Viking blood ...

Wow, that clip of Freddie and the Dreamers was a blast from the past and even a bit painful.  Pretty valuable though as an historical documentation of the British invasion.  I had forgotten what a nut Freddie was!

Uwe! I'm more turned om by Mambo Kings rather then Vi Kings. Listen to this tune, performed by the great Los Lobos, from the movie Mambo Kings. The book was really good, the movie not so good, but Los Lobos can turn water into wine.

I don't want to upset Staffan again, but here's Freddie & The Dreamers in live performance covering "Little Bitty Pretty One" http://youtube.com/watch?v=pztfad9y7JA. No, it's not in the same league as Thurston Harris' original but it does show that he had a little broader range.

All right, folks! I've seen the future, and it ain't nice... But, you can obviously dance to it!
