Something Rob mentioned in a pm reminded me to post this...

This is off-the-wall... A thought... a logo for a tee, or for the site...?

well, it is a "four-string" er... something re-worked, with a T'bird neck...

There is an image I have on a cup I was given by my daughter, of Gandalf, that I cannot find online, but I have always meant to do a mod to the image, with the caption, "Gandalf played a white EB3"... I'll try it and post if it works...

Any thoughts gents...?
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

that pretty much sums up the gibson forum here.

Sportin' a woodie.................

Umm............Being a part-time girl, that might not work for me..... :-X
Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

Maybe we could do a batch of shirts with the bass pointing in for the 'ladies'?  ;D

Ken, I don't see a logo or tee in the near future.

Thanks for the thought, but if we did, it wouldn't be anything raunchy.

Actually, I was thinking about our logolessness only recently too ...

It should certainly be something so that older folks from more rural parts of America still feel comfortable with it:

How about that city flag the New Braunfels city council failed to adopt in 2002 when the German-origin and the Hispanic-origin council members couldn't agree? Unfortunately, I couldn't google a pic of it.

Rural? In the suburban area of the seventh largest city in the US?

Too bad that first video focused on downtown and nearby areas. It was thriving 50 years ago. A look at the miles of tract home subdivisions and big box retailers would be more like it.

We want that flag!

NB actually looks nice, really. Greener than I thought.

NB is very nice but Dave's right - nowadays it's just the 'burbs >:(   Hell, at the rate things are going Austintonio will be a reality in few more years ;)

Uwe, if you do come to Texas you'll have to make a drive to the hill country and try to converse with the locals in your native toungue - I understand that there's quite a lot of German still spoken in the hill country but I think it's evolved from the native toungue a bit ;D

Black plastik is fantastik

We need a combination of black hardware, anal sex, cross dressing, WWII Fighter Planes, Kiss, anorexic boys and maybe even some bass content (Gibson) for a logo. Anyone?

Maybe something like this?

That is great!  Love the lettering and the simplicity of the drawing. Perfect.
