Hi Uwe,
hi Guys,
well it has been a very long time since I had been in here.
So I just wanted to show you my new project.
You might know that I play with the german WHO tribute WHO ARE YOU.
So I had this bass in the buildt for 4 years now. It is not intented to be an Alembic replica,
but a tribute to John Entwistle and the Spyder basses.
I wanted to have the original design of the Spyder bass, with modern electronics and at a reasonable
price as I wanted to use this bass on stage of course.
The bass was buildt by UK luthier Feline Guitars. The core wood is walnut with thick birds eye maple top and
back, it has custom wound Kent Armstrong pickups and Status-Graphite Buzzard 1 electronics.
Only the fingerboard inlays were not possible to make, so the decision for the plain fingerboard.

I am! What a bass! Once I hope to own an Alembic like that or the Warwick Stryker:) But that handmade bass, totally to your specs is awesome!!!

My 'collection' is a bit JAE-inspired with a Fiesta P, a Rivoli, a 4005 and my new Buzzard. Check my pics somewhere below here. We have to meet once:)
