It is currently 4:30 A.M. and I just thought I would say right now that Transformers ROTF was something I enjoyed quite a bit. While there are the flaws with story and such, it is a great movie just to sit back and enjoy all the explosions combined with complex CGI. ILM really pulled it off with the visual effects and I know that Bay was still approving shots the day of the first premier. The amount of data for the first one was about 20 TB, this one weighs in at 145 TB as the total number of transformers was bumped up from 17 to 46.

I personally found a number of things amusing though out the movie and one scene had me laughing the hardest I have in a really long time.

The AMC I went to started the day with 6 regular showings and 1 IMAX showing which was sold out sometime over the weekend. At noon 2 showings were sold out and when I got my tickets at 12:30, a showing sold out right when I was at the machine. By 4 they had bumped it up to 9 screens while 4 were sold out. 6:30 revealed that there were 3 out of 11 were still open but that was gone by 8:30. The worst part was leaving with everyone else as the 12 screens all got out at once. There was even going to be a 3:30 A.M. showing or two so the lobby was still packed while the top floor of the parking structure was stopped completely for more than 10 minutes.(see pictures)

There are many in this world that call me Darrol, feel free to be apart of that group.

I'm vacillating between two opposing comments:

1) "Is this a GREAT country, or WHAT?"

2) "It's the downfall of civilization and we're all DOOMED!"
"A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any other invention with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila."

History has shown that the fall of almost all great civilisations is usually preceded by a period of decadence...  :o

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
