Well it's finally getting warm here and everything is at its best right now in the yard-

A toad has made our pond home and has been singing for a mate-We had a bullfrog a few years back then the Blue Heron came and he disappeared.

The Koi are now active and we begin to feed them

Redbuds are just finishing their bloom

The dogs really enjoy the warm weather and the birds & squirrels

Like Mark, thats a very beautiful place that you live in John.

It makes where I live feel very harsh.

Spring  What's that!

Seems like I've been dealing with summer for a month now! >:(  The redbuds down here were done by the end of March

You have a very beautiful yard and I'm envious to say the least.  This is our first spring/summer in our new house and we are starting from scratch, new build, and the going is slow.  It'll probably take me a couple of years just to get my soil healthy let alone have the yard look nice.  Still I try...

Buzz, you should know that spring in Houston consists of the few minutes you have your windows open to air out your house at the end of the winter after you turn off your central heat. As soon as you slam your windows shut and turn on your central air, then it's summer.  :)

Well it's 49 degrees here tonight in MA, last night it was about 70 at this same time, Sunday we got got pelted by 1 1/4" hailstones. yup typical spring here in new England.
Time to move I think.

Thats because it is!

Seriously (yahoo/joke?), I was envious of were you live and all the cool animals around you. The grass is always greener on the other side. We have horrible cold & snow, you have searing heat.

You remember Yahoo, Seriously?

John, now don't you start making jokes about my favorite actor!  :P  ;D

It's been a great couple weeks here, between 65-75 degrees lots of sun, my delicate girlish body is finally shaken off being cold all winter ;)

It has been bouncing up and down - rain and 50's/60's last weekend - but it's starting to settle into the 70's/80's pattern which is typical for Northern Colorado.  Not hard to take at all!
