I didn't know if I should put this here or in the Project forum but I have a LP Recording bass body that I was going to put on ebay but I figured I would offer it up here first.

The neck had been broken a few times and wasn't worth trying to salvage, so I took it out.  The tape moved slightly when I was drilling out the neck so there are a few marks in the pocket, nothing that would affect gluing surfaces.

One bridge post insert has been moved to accommodate a Shaller 460.  The insert has been pulled so you could plug it and redrill it for the evertilt or hipshot if you wished.

I'm not sure what it's even worth to someone so let's say $125 shipped???  If that's unreasonable let me know.

Once you cut away that lower horn , put a badass, add model G's, paint it white, then were talking!

He's probably tuning up his bandsaw as we speak.

Given the current state of this poor body, even Scott's more daring, errrm, experiments will give it a better future. Will you turn it long scale?

LMFAO  You guys know me to well ! I am hoping to get it back as close as I can to stock, the path I take will depend on what parts I can scrape together. Greatdealz on ebay has Triumph neck blanks but they are long scale. The body is to cool to pass up I'll figure it out once I get it.

Yeah he's been having them for sale for quite a while.
Bu there is no such thing as a long scale Triumph.
Neither has there ever been a non-mahogany Triumph.

I think it's a Ripper neck.

Yup, Ripper neck is my take too. I have two of those spare necks and they look just like Ripper necks or perhaps RD, LP Sig of long scale seventies (= maple neck) EBs, certainly no Triumph neck though.
